Venezuela graduates from high school in Ecuador

The initiative, promoted by the diplomatic mission of the Bolivarian nation, promotes the training of students with a program also supported by the Ministry of People’s Power for Education and the National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (Inces).

This Friday, at the graduation ceremony, the President of Inces, Wuinkelman Paredes, who is visiting Quito, explained that every degree and every certificate reflects the dreams of each of these young people and their families.

He also stressed the importance of making education a sacred and universal right wherever Venezuelans are.

The director of the educational modality for youth and adults of the Ministry of Education, Belkis Sánchez, emphasized that this productive distance education program was completed despite the economic blockade against her country.

The representative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Julio Carranza, attested to the Venezuelan government’s support of a sui generis program, since it is carried out outside its borders and is intended for the migrant population.

This project is of immense importance and must be repeated in other countries, explained Carranza.

One of the graduates, Eduardo Romero, 37, thanked all the institutions that supported him and his colleagues on this “educational journey”.

The Chief Consul of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in Quito, Pedro Sassone, explained that this distance learning model is being perfected to continue with other groups and achieve better performance, including in entrepreneurship training.

Working with you, young people and children, is strategically important, said Sassone, who also confirmed his state’s will to take care of Venezuelans beyond its borders.
