At the end. That’s what they say, right? Well, the rule definitely applies to this one Venice Film Festival 2023marked by the complete absence of Hollywood stars who, across the ocean, are held back by the strike for the union struggle that sees them demanding their rights.
Among the very few exceptions to this enforced absence of American stars, one stands out for its unbridled splendor: that of Jessica Chastainwhich arrives at the lagoon on the penultimate evening of the festival to accompany Michael Franco’s film “Memory”.
If she wears a T-shirt with a slogan in support of the strike for which she acts as a spokesperson at the Lido during the day’s photo shoot, then on the red carpet in the evening she shows off one of those dresses that are hard to forget.
For her, armor made of bronze and copper sequins, in perfect harmony with her tawny hair, which divinely plays with the darkness of the night and the glare of the headlights. In other words, we had to wait 10 days for a show like this, but it was totally worth it.
