Tessa Thompson made a glamorous entrance at the opening night of the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday.
The Thor star, 38, showed off her daring fashion sense in a fancy silver corset and black pencil skirt as she attended the White Noise premiere.
White Noise is an adaptation of American writer Don DeLillo’s best-selling 1985 novel, with the film serving as the kick-off to the event before moving on to the New York Film Festival in September.

Tessa stunned in a silver bodice that featured a tiered train and jewel embellishment.
She paired the look with a black pencil skirt and black pointed heels.
Tessa wore her long red locks down and behind her back, using her chunky silver necklace to tie them together.

Her makeup was completed with a matte foundation, layers of bronzer, a winged eye and a bold nude lip.
As an accessory, she wore black cat-eye sunglasses.
Jodie Turner-Smith, 35, Julianne Moore, 61, and Greta Gerwig, 39, were some of the first stars to arrive and brought the glamor as they graced the red carpet.

This year’s lineup will see the controversial biopic Blonde, starring Ana De Armas as tragic screen icon Marilyn Monroe, in contention for the competition’s top honor.
Brendan Fraser’s moving drama The Whale, in which he plays an obese professor, will also compete alongside films starring Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman and Colin Farrell.
Alberto Barbera, director of the event, said of the line-up: “The program is more varied than usual, putting established filmmakers alongside directors looking for confirmation and, most importantly, talented newcomers striving for international recognition.”
Meanwhile, Tessa just wrapped up production on Creed III and The Listener.
She is known for her roles in the Thor franchise and the TV series Westworld.
