In 2002, the 25-year-old young woman, who comes from Embrun, a small town in eastern Ontario, released her first career album after living in Montreal for four years. Véronic wanted a “happy” album, songs based on her model, “a country girl who radiates joy of life”.

In the arms of Anthony Kavanagh in 2003, when they both starred in the French-language version of the musical Chicago, which was performed in Montreal. Véronic defended the leading role of Roxie Hart, which she reprized opposite Stéphane Rousseau at the Casino de Paris in 2004, an interpretation that earned her a nomination at the Molières ceremony in France.

During the release of Sans Détour in 2005, a work that earned him two nominations at the Adisq Gala and five Trille d’Or trophies at the Franco-Ontarian Singing and Music Gala. The adventure continued for Véronic, who had captivated the judges at the Ontario Pop Competition twelve years earlier, at the age of 17.

In 2008, Véronic accepted the challenge of the first part of Celine Dion’s Taking Chances show at the Bell Center in Montreal. She appeared tiny on this huge stage in front of thousands of spectators and imitated around twenty voices, including those of Céline herself, a true triumph that catapulted her career to a new level.

On the streets of Paris 10 years ago. In 2011, the French discovered him as a judge on the TV singing competition X Factor. They have since praised the imitator’s show all over France, including at the legendary Olympia in Paris, where she gave twelve performances. The following year she would shine in Las Vegas!
- Véronic DiCaire is one of the investigators on the popular show’s panel Masked singers, hosted by Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, alongside Sam Breton, Anouk Meunier and Stéphane Rousseau. Sundays at 6:30 p.m. VAT.
- The singer and impersonator continues her tour Showgirl trick, a large-scale production with dancers, choreography and musicians. She will be at the Casino du Lac-Leamy on December 1st and 2nd and at the St-Denis in Montreal on December 5th and 6th. She will then present her show in almost 35 cities in France starting in January, in addition to some dates in Belgium. Her long-time lover and manager Rémon Boulerice will be at her side.
- Véronic is one of the actresses in the film by René Richard Cyr Our sisters-in-law, adaptation of the famous play by Michel Tremblay, alongside Geneviève Schmidt, Guylaine Tremblay, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Debbie Lynch-White and Valérie Blais. Music by Daniel Bélanger. Release scheduled for July 2024.
