Verstappen and Stroll arrive in Montreal on private jets

Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll distinguish themselves among F1 drivers by affording the luxury of traveling in private planes between the various Grands Prix.

Max Verstappen’s private plane landed at Montreal-Trudeau Airport on Tuesday evening. The winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix quickly left the scene in his private plane on Sunday afternoon. After a night in Monaco, his hometown, the Red Bull team driver made his way to Austria for a 24-hour layover before flying to Montreal.

According to the specialized website SuperYachtFan, in 2020 the Red Bull team pilot paid $15 million to buy a Dassault Falcon 900EX aircraft owned by Richard Branson of the Virgin Group.

A Bombardier Challenger 604 left Baku after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon and arrived in Dorval on Monday morning after a very brief stopover at Luton Airport in the UK. According to several specialized websites, this plane is linked to Lance Stroll and his father Lawrence, one of the owners of the Aston Martin F1 team.

Another plane linked to Lawrence Stroll also landed in Montreal Tuesday night. According to SuperYachtFan, Bombardier’s Global 500 had a retail price of $60 million in 2013 and costs $9,000 an hour to operate.

Both aircraft are officially owned by TVPX ARS Inc Trustee, a Utah company that provides aircraft registration services.
