The Fernández family celebrated the second anniversary of Don Vicente Fernández's death in a very special way by installing a hyper-realistic sculpture of the singer at the Los Tres Potrillos ranch.
Charro de Huentitán's descendants and widow want to ensure that the artist's legacy remains present. So they placed the work very close to the resting place of the artist's remains so that visitors can take a photo with it.
When they saw the Sphinx, Doña Cuquita Abarca and Alejandro Fernández were so moved that they shed several tears, and in this sense the singer's widow expressed: “Of course!… it's very… natural, thank you.” “
For his part, “El Potrillo” did not hide the great impact he felt when he saw the result of the sculpture by the artist Rubén Orozco.
“Gerardo just sent me a photo that he took on a human scale and it looks… my eyes were blurry, the web… I think it's very impressive,” Alejandro explained.
On the other hand, the interpreter of songs such as “I dedicated myself to the loss of you” and “Caballero” used his Instagram account to send an emotional message to the patriarch of the Fernández dynasty.
“I was searching through memories and found one of my favorite days. Stubborn old man full of gifts. Two years after you left, you continue to speak in my ear to remind me of the things that matter. Never miss us, Don Chente. We love you,” he wrote.
Regarding the sculpture, it turns out that the production of this work began three months ago and it should be noted that this is not the first time that Orozco has created a work of this type for the Fernández family, since he Having done this before, he made a sculpture for the dynasty's minor, Alex, who introduced him to Gerardo Fernández to accept the creation of his latest piece.
