Vicki Gunvalson is “thrilled” that she didn’t say “yes” to her ex-fiancé Steve Lodge when she learned he had tied the knot with another woman just seven months after their split.
“People have asked me to make a statement about my x fiancee [sic] recently married,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 60, tweeted On Wednesday.
“Here it is… I wish you the best. I’m just so excited and relieved that I wasn’t standing at the altar with him.”
Lodge, 63, announced Monday via Instagram that he and third grade teacher Janis Carlson, 37, are officially married.
“Perfect weather, spectacular views, wonderful guests, unforgettable ceremony, sensational food and lots of wine; And of course my beautiful wife,” the failed California gubernatorial candidate captioned the photo. “Everything made for an incredible wedding.”
Lodge began dating Carlson in September 2021 — the same month he broke up with Gunvalson.
He then proposed to Carlson on December 20, and the couple went official with their relationship on Instagram on Christmas Day.
In February 2022, Gunvalson exclusively told Page Six that she felt Lodge had sent her mixed messages prior to their split by sleeping in her bed and spending time with her for much of 2021.

She also repeated allegations she had previously made of her ex-politician that he had “lied”, “cheated” and “used” on her.
“Those are the facts,” the former “housewife” told us. “If he says he didn’t cheat on me, then why did you keep living with me? That’s my question for him. Why did you make me believe that we’d be alright? Because I’ve been at it my whole life.”
However, it appears that Gunvalson has since moved on. The OC’s OG revealed in late February that she has an “incredible” new boyfriend.
“He’s the first man who’s ever really given me anything,” she gushed to Access Hollywood. “He says, ‘I get that, you’re not paying for that.’ I’m like, ‘Are you real?’ He’s bloody incredible.”
Gunvalson added: “I manifested him. He has everything [on the list] but one [thing]. Wear cowboy boots and love country western music. He has no boat.”
