Vicky McClure was far from the line of duty as she left her rowdy wedding party in comfortable trainers.
The actress, best known for her role as DC Kate Fleming in the BBC police drama, secretly married film director Jonny Owen in her hometown of Nottingham on Friday.
And after hanging out with friends and family at the city’s Metronome nightspot, Vicky, 40, was spotted heading home after swapping heels for slouchy Nike shoes.
The actress was certainly off duty during the evening’s celebrations, as she sipped on cans of Red Stripe beer alongside her co-stars Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar, as well as ‘Line of Duty’ creator Jed Mercurio.
The group appeared to be in high spirits as they happily posed for photos together while Vicky clutched at her drink for the snap.

Then things took a comic turn when Martin, who plays DI Steve Arnott in the police drama, and Jed Mercurio donned police hats alongside actor Craig Parkinson, who plays DI Matthew “Dot” Cottan.
Martin seemed to be the heart and soul of the party as he snapped another selfie with writer Jed, while also posing for an amazing snap with Adrian, who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings.
Commenting on his selection of hilarious photos, Martin wrote on Instagram: “Incredible day in Notts celebrating the marriage of the best people @vicky.mcclure and @jonathanowen71.”
“The first dance with the dementia choir was just beautiful and says it all about the two sharing their moment with the dementia team… after that there were some cyclists.”
Meanwhile, after the party, Vicky also settled down with her new husband, while the newlyweds held glasses of bubbly amidst the boozy party.
Jonny also shared a lovely snap with daughter Katie Owens, who looked stunning in a fringed green dress, before having to leave at 10pm to present her radio show.
The couple later announced their nuptials on their show, with Vicky sharing live on air: “We had the most amazing special day and are disappointed you had to come back but we are so proud of you.”
“You miss a lot of dancing, but we can do that again.”

Earlier in the day, Vicky and Jonny were serenaded by the Dementia Choir, a singing group of people living with dementia that she helped fund.
Vicky looked sensational in a stunning off-the-shoulder dress with a thigh-high leg slit as she posed for photos after the ceremony.
Her dress and dramatic veil spread out behind her as she smiled at the first glimpse of her day next to Johnny.
Vicky held a bouquet of pretty wildflowers while Jonny wore a dark blue suit with a light blue satin tie.

A second photo gave a glimpse of the celebrations as Vicky and Jonny danced while the Dementia Choir performed on stage at the Metronome venue in town.
The actress starred in the 2019 BBC One documentary series The Dementia Choir, which explored the important link between music and dementia.
The show also documented what music therapy can do for people with dementia and honored the choir’s personal journeys.
Vicky, who plays Detective Sergeant Kate Fleming on hit BBC drama Line Of Duty, has previously spoken about her grandmother Iris’ battle with dementia after she tragically passed away in 2015.
Two years later, in 2021, she proudly announced that the organization had become an officially incorporated charity.
Vicky and Jonny met in 2012 while filming Svengali, a film Jonny wrote, but she claimed to have fallen in love before they even met in person.
