Some details about the bZ4X
“We launched the bZ4X this year. The vehicle is manufactured together with Subaru, which in turn offers the Solterra – an almost identical product,” explains Car Guide columnist Antoine Joubert. Aside from some aesthetic elements, the Solterra can only be equipped with all-wheel drive.

The base model of the bZ4X only operates the front wheels. Its 71.4 kWh battery enables a range of 406 km. When fast charging, it can also receive a maximum output of 150 kW. The all-wheel drive variants have a range of between 357 and 367 km and are limited to 100 kW fast charging stations.
All versions of the bZ4X are eligible for the provincial and federal grant totaling $12,000. Prices – all fees included – range from $47,934 to $57,934.
Antoine’s advice and the rally
This week Antoine talks about the issues surrounding technologies integrated into new vehicles. After taking possession, it is important to carry out the necessary maintenance work in order to minimize costs and to call in specialized workshops for repairs.

The 100% electric rally begins a very busy third day. With 815 km to go, the duo Charles Hamelin and Geneviève Tardif set off with a car that was not fully loaded. You leave Wendake and pass Shawinigan, then Sainte-Thérèse to end in Oshawa, Ontario.
