Video of extreme violence taken on the 18th shows the moment a public transport driver fired 12 shots at a passenger who was trying to intimidate him with a revolver in the city of Charlotte, United States. The man was about to get off in front of the stop and, upon hearing the driver’s refusal, drew his gun and began threatening him, unaware that the driver had a pistol in his hand.
Recording made by the bus’s security circuit shows Omarri Shariff sending Tobias, 22, wearing a hood over his head, driver David Fullard, 42, right there to the vehicle. When Tobias finds out that this is not possible, he pulls out a small silver revolver and tells the professional: “If you touch it, your ass will burst.”
The video sequence shows a very quick action by the driver, who fires several shots from behind the protective glass of his cabin, causing the attacker to “disappear”, throw himself to the ground and get hit in the stomach. He also fired and shot the driver in the arm. Everything happens while the bus is driving.
Desperate, the collective’s passengers run away as soon as the vehicle stops. They said the driver fired other shots. Tobias, who has already recorded several police rounds, was hospitalized for a few days in serious condition, but has already been released, arrested and will answer charges of illegal possession of firearms, assault with a firearm with wounded and menace.
Fullard, who has recovered well from the arm injury, has not been charged with a crime but has been fired from the company where he worked for 19 years. A spokesman for the Charlotte Transportation System told CNN that the driver violated an important professional rule that states that under no circumstances should a gun be carried during work hours.
