Video of Andrew Tate’s arrest in Romania shows him locked in the back of a police van with two women.

Tate was arrested December 29 in the Romanian capital of Bucharest as part of an ongoing investigation into human trafficking and rape

Footage of the arrest was published by the Romanian news website Gândul and also by Web:

Tate, an internet celebrity made famous by overtly misogynist content, has been accused of forcing women to make porn to sell online, according to Portal.

Two women were arrested with him and appear in the video, whom the Mail identified as Georgiana Naghel, 28, and Luana Radu, 32.

Naghel is an influencer whose Instagram shows her posing on yachts and beaches. Radu used to be a police officer in Bucharest, now she is an Instagram influencer under the pseudonym Ellie Dely.

Both women are accused of helping Tate recruit at least six women for her online porn business. Like Tate, they were and are being held in prison for 30 days pending trial.

A police source told Web that Tate, his brother Tristan, Naghel and Radu attracted police attention by flaunting a lavish lifestyle on social media “that is inconsistent with their financial situation”.

Romanian investigators claimed in a press release that the six women were victims of human trafficking, at least one of whom was raped.

The group “created an organized crime group with the aim of recruiting, harboring and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content to be viewed on specialized websites for a fee,” investigators said.

Tate and the others were initially held for 24 hours, which a Romanian court was able to extend to 30 days.

Tate himself has not responded to the allegations, other than telling British tabloid Daily Mirror through a spokesman that he would help the Romanian authorities.

But his Twitter account on Friday appeared to portray the events as a dark conspiracy, saying, “The Matrix has sent its agents.”
