VIDEO: Daddy Yankee enjoyed Puerto Rico’s win with Marc Anthony

A good baseball fan, Daddy Yankee was there last night as Puerto Rico beat the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic.

The urban artist was accompanied by Marc Anthony and Puerto Rican actor Anthony Ramos. He was also joined by the Dominican producer and broadcaster Santiago Matías, known on social networks as Alofoke.

“A big hug to all our Dominican brothers. This is a sibling rivalry, WE LOVE YOU. PR, that’s going on!” the Big Boss published on his social networks.

DY and Marc Anthony have been friends for many years, which they transferred to the musical level with the single De vuelta pa’ la vuelta. Daddy Yankee was also one of the guests at the salsa singer’s wedding to model Nadia Ferreira on January 28.

The game was also attended by personalities such as Puerto Rican host Carlos Adyan, Dominican host Chiky Bombom, Dominican actor Aquiles Correa, Julián Gil and others.

In a traditional Caribbean clash, Team Rubio defeated the Dominican Republic 5-2 to secure the final Group D ticket to the quarter-finals.

This is the fifth time the Boricuas have reached the second leg of the World Classic, a perfect attendance since it opened in 2006. The Dominicans, on the other hand, have been outside for the second time in the history of the tournament and for the first time since 2009.

Puerto Rico meets Mexico tomorrow, Friday. The game will take place at 7:00 p.m. at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida.
