The comedian and digital influencer from Minas Gerais, Gustavo Tubarão, met this Saturday (30) the Italian responsible for the “Atenzzione Pickpocket” meme, Monica Polli. The two were in Venice, Italy.
On social media, the 23yearold shared moments with Polli as they searched for pickpockets in the Italian city. “Guys, I’m in a country I don’t know, in a city I’ve never been to, with a woman I met on the Internet, looking for a thief. I have no idea where I am,” he explained.
At one point in the recording, the two find a young woman stealing wallets, and Tubarão accompanies Polli in pursuit of the thief. While the Italian shouts: “Attenzione, pickpocket! Attenzione, borseggiatrici” (literally translated “Beware of pickpockets”), the miner shouts: “Look at the thief, 157, look at 157!”. The number shouted by Tubarão refers to the article of the Penal Code that describes the crime of robbery and which is also used as slang.
