Amid the fighting in the Kharkiv region, a Ukrainian soldier nicknamed Enot said: “Since 2014, when a Russian foot crossed the border into Ukraine, we are no longer a friendly people.”
“Well, for me, Europe is a brother nation. Where we’re going, we’re going slowly, but with a certain step,” he added.
On the outskirts of Kharkov, historian Roman Semenyha gave a motivational speech to Ukrainian military personnel.
He guided them through their positions and spoke to the battalion to boost morale.
“It’s very important to give people an emotional charge and emotional support,” Semenyha said.
