Chloe Jones, a 23-year-old young woman, was held hostage for several days in Ohio by William Mozingo, a “serial kidnapper.” Local police shared footage of his release.
She’s been through real hell. Chloe Jones, 23, was held captive by a serial kidnapper for four days in October 2023.
Thanks to the intervention of the Akron police, whose images were published this Monday, November 13th by the New York Post, the young woman was finally released.
“She was tortured relentlessly during the four days she was held. “William Mozingo allegedly beat her with a baseball bat, doused her with gasoline and threatened to set her on fire while keeping her captive in his garage for days,” police said.
Hospital stay in the intensive care unit for several days
“She was forced to urinate on herself because she was not allowed to go to the toilet,” added her mother, who had difficulty recognizing her. “My daughter was strangled several times and was told that if she passed out he would slash herself.” He wanted her awake and able to understand everything he was doing to her.
“I thought about him every day,” said Chloe Jones, who was in intensive care for three days after his release. “I saw his face in my head. It was terrifying.”
The arrest of William Mozingo, the person responsible for his ordeal, is not his first attempt: he has already been in prison for several kidnappings.
