VIDEO: Residente says goodbye to his younger version with Ron on the floor

Residente closed his younger version's coffin and toasted the beginning of his new song Ron on the floor.

In the song, René Pérez Joglar reflects on his time with the group Calle 13, “las cagadas”, his experiences with family members, his physical transformation and other references to his most famous songs.

Miss Universe 2001 Denise Quiñones, the rapper's partner, made a special appearance in the music video, as did her brothers iLe and Eduardo Cabra, actor Juan Pablo Díaz and other characters who simulated Residente's funeral in the past.

The composer also recently released Problema Cabr@# in collaboration with Argentine singer Wos. There was a music video for the song, a short film about ten minutes long.

In addition, Ricky Martin accompanied Residente on the song Quiero ser baladista, which includes a more than nine-minute black and white short film co-directed by the rapper and Alejandro Pedrosa.

The violent tone persists for the remaining minutes in the rhythm of rap and then ballads, a desire for which he “kidnaps” Afo Verde, president of Sony Music Latin-Iberia. When the managing director does not agree with the interpreter's version of the ballad as part of the plot, he is shot.
