Two teenagers were driving through the streets of Las Vegas, USA, imitating the video game GTA and intentionally running over a 64yearold man who was riding a bicycle along an avenue. Andreas Probst, a retired California police chief, succumbed to his injuries and died hours later at a hospital. The case happened on August 14, but only now the police in the city famous for its casinos managed to make sure that everything was a premeditated act and even found a video of the teenagers showing every moment of the barbaric act.
From the images it can be seen that one of the teenagers, who would be 16 years old, films everything that happens in the vehicle and on public roads, similar to the graphics of the wellknown game. The aim is to kill people who have been run over and to destroy things destroy. Before the fatal collision with Probst, the 17yearold driver threw his Hyundai into a car driving next to him.
The underage driver was arrested on the same day as the crime, but police believed it was simply an accident or a reckless act. When they found the targeted video, the boy was charged with murder and could spend the rest of his life in prison. There is no information about his accomplice who filmed the action, what charges he faces and whether he will also be arrested.
