Naíne Carvalho, reporter for TV Amazônica, a subsidiary of TV Globo, was attacked this Friday (1/12) during a live broadcast. She was appearing on the morning news when she was surprised on the street by a man who punched her in the head.

As she spoke, Naíne did not notice the approach of a man who quickly came towards her and hit her on the head, uttering unintelligible words.

Startled, the reporter walked away from the video. The man soon left and the professional apologized to Breno Cabral, the host of Bom Dia Amazonas. The camera cut back to the studio, and the presenter also expressed his outrage at what was happening: “My God, what happened? How absurd. Are you okay, Naíne?”

“I'm fine. I was just scared. I really didn't see it, I was concentrating here. I was surprised by a person who appeared to be homeless. He was quite changed, we don't know the person's condition. But in the end “I got really scared and gave serious information to the viewer. In the end, the team got scared, but everything is fine,” she said.
