When a violent tornado hit this home, a four-month-old baby was swept away with his father. A few hours later, Lord's parents found him in his crib in a tree.
A hot shot for this couple! When a deadly tornado hit the US state of Tennessee last Saturday, a couple's home was completely destroyed, British media BBC reports.
Inside was her four month old baby, sir, in the crib. He was swept away by the tornado.
The tip of the tornado took the baby with it
Sydney Moore, the 22-year-old mother, said the roof had been torn off. “The tip of the tornado came down and picked up the crib with my baby in it,” she told a local news station.
To protect his child, the father came to pick him up, but he too was taken away.
“They spun in circles and then were thrown,” she adds. Her other one-year-old son was safe with his mother during this time.
A few hours later the child was found alive in his crib in a tree in the pouring rain!
“I was pretty sure he was dead and we wouldn't find him,” Sydney Moore said.
Child found safe and sound
Luckily the child was not injured, just a few cuts and bruises. The father's arm and shoulder were broken, says his girlfriend's sister.
“Mister looked like he had been gently placed on the tree,” like “an angel had brought him to safety,” the mother’s sister says on GoFundMe, a fundraiser started to help them build a new house help.
