From summer to winter in just a few hours. Denver and the Colorado region of the United States experienced a sharp drop in temperature and a drastic change in weather. In 36 hours the thermometer went from 32°C to -1°C. Full sun gave way to snowfall. About 30 cm of fresh snow fell.
These sudden snowfalls caused trees and power lines to fall. The trees – heavier because they have their leaves – fell on parked vehicles, sometimes causing significant damage. According to Xcel Energy, more than 66,000 customers were without power as of Saturday morning, reports The Denver Channel. No injuries were reported.

I had the rough task of hanging out in Estes Park for the last two days.
This is a ~36 hour before and after photo.
The snow is not only breathtaking, but also very welcome!
Drought, especially in this region, has been such a challenge for us! #cowx pic.twitter.com/G7A04gpUGt

The sudden drop in temperature could have a significant impact on vegetation that is already in bloom.
