VIDEOS: Deadly snake hides in closets and housewife nearly dies from fright

A woman went through the “greatest struggle” when she discovered a deadly small snake living peacefully in her dressing room. The recording was made on April 25 in Queensland, Australia, when the woman entered the room and something unusual caught her eye.

About a foot tall, the blackspotted snake was only a baby about a month old, but it had potent and deadly venom.The spotted black snake, about 30cm long, was found in the closet and was just a baby at about a month old Photo: Montage/@Darling Downs Snake Catchers 24/7/Reproduction/ND

When the woman went to investigate, she came across the small creature lurking in her closet. The housewife almost did not notice the snake camouflaged in the dark brown carpet of the room.

Terrified and not knowing what to do, the woman called specialists to catch the snake, which immediately rushed to the property. The woman reported that she didn’t know the size of the snake because she only saw part of its tail.

Snake was soon found

Snake expert Gunter Glasser found a spotted black snake about 30 cm long. The snake, also known as the bluebellied black snake, was just a baby around a month old.

Glasser described the pup as “dangerously venomous,” stating that it was slightly more venomous than the redbellied black snake. He added, “They’re usually on the floor and you usually find them on the wall,” he says.

small and deadly

Despite all the snake specialist’s protective devices, catching the reptile was not so easy. Even with a thick glove, the snake bit off Glasser’s left thumb.

According to the Australian Museum, the snake’s method of attack is to “hang” and chew its victim. In this way, the viper ensures that “a good dose of venom is injected”.

When the reptile finally frees itself, the footage shows the two wet patches of deadly venom it attempted to inject into Glasser’s glove.

Despite the young age, the levels of venom would have proven fatal to pets and young children, and could lead to muscle necrosis and cell death in adults.

“You can see the poison in the glove when he finally lets go. It’s not about being aggressive, it’s just about defending yourself,” says Glasser. “If you get bitten and poisoned by this little guy, that small amount of poison needs urgent medical attention,” he affirms.

3. When choosing plants for landscaping, it is important to choose species that are more delicate than shrubs to reduce shadow cast and ensure visibility of the plant base;

4. Snakes cannot move under buildings that are at ground level or where access to crawl spaces such as a basement is restricted. B. under canopies is blocked. Keep this in mind when building!
