Chadé Losane, whose voice is unique to Coeur de Pirate, faced a winding obstacle course in her youth, but all the difficulties she has overcome now make her stronger and more determined than ever to succeed in life.
On Sunday, the 27-year-old young woman from Quebec thrilled the gallery in La Voix and won her duel against 28-year-old Redge Olibrice from Montreal.

Her coach, Roxane Bruneau, preferred Chadé because she believes her protégé has the potential to win the tenth season.
Fortunately for Redge, who we already told you about, Corneille and Mario Pelchat fought to ensure that he could not return home empty-handed. The friendly interpreter of Haitian origin decided to join Corneille's team.
Their performance of “Tenir erect” by Fred Pellerin, whose words resonated strongly with them, was a highlight of this second duel evening.
“We have said again and again that we want to give people hope,” Chadé said in an interview with QMI Agency.

A difficult childhood
The young singer and musician – she plays the piano and ukulele – had a difficult childhood. From the ages of 9 to 18, she lived in a youth center, with a foster family or in a residential group.
While singing in the isolation room, she realized that she could be heard, and as she said during her blind audition, “Just because you start alone doesn't mean you end up alone.”
“I could have taken a bad turn, and I had my passport where I took a bad turn,” she revealed. Now I’m sober before I was deaf.”
Some time before La Voix, Chadé had suffered a relapse after four years of abstinence. But most importantly: she got up again.
“I went to therapy, pulled myself together and signed up for La Voix without knowing it. I didn't have a permanent address, I had nothing. Since last June I've had my home, I've done La Voix, I've paid off my debts, I'm doing well and I'm staying sober. So if you relapse, it doesn’t mean you can’t recover.”
It was Chadé's “mother of the heart” who unknowingly registered her with La Voix. This woman, the mother of her first lover in a youth center, never gave up on her, just like her late grandfather Méo.
Chadé always felt left behind and that was still the case when she started at La Voix. “I felt like the weak link,” she admitted. Many, like Roxane Bruneau, want to tell her to believe in herself.

The young artist, who has a good relationship with her parents, continues to reconcile with her childhood and receives many messages from young people.
“I work with my past every day because there are things that come up. I think I was partially healed by The Voice,” she said, admitting that she had panic attacks on set.
“I know that I have flaws, that I sabotage, that I am persecuted because of my past wounds. I set myself guardrails and I'm broken in life, so I tell myself it's normal that my voice is broken,” she said with a laugh.
Roxane Bruneau, who has often spoken about her anxiety problems, was undoubtedly the most suitable trainer for Chadé, who sees her as a big sister. “She still helps me to this day.”
“At the youth center they want to get you fit. When you're an artist you're asked to let go, so I navigate that and it's beautiful. I feel strong and so happy that it's finally my turn. Just because the stats are against you doesn’t mean you can’t beat them.”
