Under the direction of Executive Chef Luke Palladino, the Laguna Pool House & Kitchen offers dishes for every appetite. The menu is reserved for large, even huge, portions to be shared in groups of four to six people. A platter of pizza, chicken wings and chicken fillets is $115 and the sushi boat with assorted rolls and nigri is $350.

Imported from New York’s East Village, Cathedrale in Las Vegas offers dim lighting, shiny metallic accents and cuisine inspired by the flavors of France, Spain, Italy and Greece. . The restaurant is best known for its $37 omelet, which is topped with potato chips, Kaluga caviar, and fresh cream.

This year there will be numerous spectacular shows and events. New features include the Wynn Las Vegas site’s Awakening show, which tells the story of torn lovers trying to find each other through circus acts, puppets, and other special effects.

Cirque du Soleil still performs several classics, but a new production is in the making: Mad Apple, a show based on the exciting life of New York at night.
