Vivica A. Fox, 58, reprises her Kill Bill character Copperhead 20 YEARS later in a new SZA music video
Vivica A. Fox is back as her Kill Bill character, Copperhead aka Vernita Green, but it’s all just for the new SZA music video.
The 58-year-old veteran actress looked like she’d barely aged as she made a surprise cameo in the 33-year-old singer-songwriter’s visual for the single Kill Bill, released Wednesday.
The music video, directed by Christian Breslauer, was apparently inspired by the 2003 Quentin Tarantino film referenced in the track’s title.

The five-minute clip began with SZA – born Solána Imani Rowe – in a trailer seemingly inspired by Michael Madsen’s character Budd, as she reads a letter from an ex who broke up with her.
Suddenly, several men start shooting at the RV and after exiting, SZA inexplicably jumps out healthy.
A truck then stops and picks up the artist, with the big reveal being Vivica in the role of Copperhead.

SZA then belts out the chorus from the passenger seat, which reads, “I might kill my ex/Not the best idea/His new girlfriend is next/How I got here. I could kill my ex/I still love him/Better in jail than alone.”
This then starts the singer’s journey of revenge, apparently inspired by Uma Thurman’s character The Bride aka Black Mamba aka Beatrix Kiddo from the iconic film duo.
The second most talked about scene from the music video will surely be the SOS hitmaker being hung from a rope completely naked towards the end of the clip.
