Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized this Saturday that supplying his country’s troops with the necessary weapons is the state’s top prioritythanked the partners for their support and pointed this out that the invasion is just the beginning and that Russia wants to invade other countries.
“Like every morning, like every day, like every afternoon, we are very careful to equip our soldiers with all the weapons they need,” Zelenskyy said in his daily video message last night, quoted by the Ukrinform agency.
He added “This is task number one” for the state.
“And I thank all of our partners who have finally listened to us, who have given us what we ask for, because we know for sure that with these weapons we can save the lives of thousands of people, and we can show the inmates that this is the case. The day is coming when we will be forced to leave Ukraine.”he claimed.
On the other hand, he pointed out that “the Ukrainian armed forces continue to contain the attacks of the Russian invaders in the east and south of the country”.

“Direction Izyum, Donbass, the Azov region, Mariupol, the Kherson region – these are the places where the fate of this war will be decided and the future of our state,” he stressed.
He also warned against this the invasion of Ukraine is just the beginning and Russia wants to invade other countries.
He referred to reports from Russia that the task is now Establishment of control over southern Ukraine and access to the border with Moldovawhere Moscow claims that the rights of Russian speakers are being violated.
“Regarding the Russian army, news spread that its task now supposedly is to take control of southern Ukraine and reach the border with Moldova. And allegedly the rights of Russian speakers are being violated there in Moldova,” said the President of Ukraine, referring to Rustam Minnekayev, the commander of the central army district.

“It just confirms what I’ve said more than once: the Russian invasion of Ukraine is just the beginning, and then they want to invade other countries too,” he said.
Zelensky He replied that it was Russian territory that “should take care of the rights of Russian speakers” since there was “no freedom of expression” or “freedom of choice” in Russia.. “There is simply no right to object,” he said, adding that in the countryside “poverty thrives” and “human lives are worthless”.
“All nations who, like us, believe in the victory of life over death must fight with us. You must help us because we are the first on this path. And who’s next?” asked the Ukrainian President.
Likewise, Zelensky explained that in places like Sloviansk and Kramatorsk or in Popasna and Kharkiv, which are in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, “The occupiers are trying to achieve a primitive goal”, namely “to kill as much as possible and to destroy as much as possible”.
On the other hand, he thanked the UK for its decision to return to the British Embassy in Kyiv. “The UK is the twenty-first country to have returned a diplomatic mission to our capital,” he celebrated.
