For the first time since Pedro Sanchez’s return to government, the center-right opposition in central Madrid is back on the streets. A demonstration called by a large group of associations under the slogan “Not in my name: neither amnesty nor self-determination”, in which the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and Santiago Abascal, leader of Vox, take part side by side Spanish right-wing extremist party.

“We are in a very difficult moment for our democracy, the alert is active and we come here to tell the government that it is one thing to have power and another to be right. Maybe they got enough MPs, but they know that they don’t have the votes to do what they do,” concluded Feijòo
For his part, Vox leader Santiago Abascal said: “We cannot give up the fight against Sanchez’s coup.
