Russian attacks on Kiev and Kharkiv, 9 injured in Kherson
Several Russian drones attacked Kiev, at least two attacks targeted the city of Kharkiv in western Ukraine and a bombing in Kherson in the south of the country injured nine people. The authorities report it.
“During the shelling of Kherson this evening by the Russian occupiers, nine people were injured, including four children,” the city's mayor, Roman Mrochko, said in Telegram.
Among the injured, “a mother and her three children were hospitalized. Her condition is moderate. They have bruises and blast wounds,” he said, adding that the other five injured were treated at the scene. According to the head of the capital's military administration, Serhii Popko, several Iranian-made “Shahed” explosive drones were also shot down by Ukrainian air defenses on their way to Kiev.
“According to preliminary information (…) there were no casualties or damage,” he wrote on Telegram, adding that this attack, the fifth on the capital in December, was carried out from the Black Sea. Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported at least two attacks near residential buildings in his city. “Information about casualties and destruction is being clarified,” he wrote on Telegram.
