25 Russian drones and missiles hit eastern and southern Ukraine overnight, Kiev says
Ukraine announced on Friday, December 1, that it had suffered a new night airstrike by Russia using 25 Iranian-made drones and two missiles in the south and east of the country.
“In total, the enemy used two X-59 missiles and 25 Shahed 136/131 attack drones,” the Ukrainian Air Force said, saying it shot down 18 drones and one missile over the southern regions.
Suspect arrested in train derailment in Russia
Russian authorities announced on Friday, December 1, the arrest of a suspect in last November’s freight train derailment, which was caused by an explosion in a region southeast of Moscow.
