The attack happened in the night from Thursday to Friday in Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine.
At least five people were killed and several wounded in a rocket attack on an apartment building in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on the night of Thursday November 10-Friday November 11, Ukraine’s regional authorities said, reports FranceInfo. “Mykolaiv again came under enemy missile fire. One of the rockets hit a five-storey apartment building, which was destroyed,” said the head of the regional administration Vitalii Kim on Telegram, mentioning a preliminary figure of at least four dead and two wounded.

That strike comes as Ukraine on Thursday announced the recapture of a dozen villages in the Kherson region, a hundred kilometers away, where Moscow confirmed it had begun disengaging. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, these are “41 villages” recaptured in the region where Ukraine’s counter-offensive began in October.
