“People see who is effective and who is not. There were and are a lot of expectations. Zelensky is paying for the mistakes he made,” the city councilor told Swiss media 20 Minutes, quoted by Sky News.
“People wonder why we weren’t better prepared for this war, why Zelensky denied until the end that it would come to this,” Vitali Klitschko continued.

The mayor of Kyiv also says he wonders about the first days of the conflict, when Russian forces entered Ukrainian territory and arrived “quickly” towards the capital.
