War in Ukraine, live: Conscription for Russian military service in the fall includes territories illegally annexed by Ukraine

  • Conscription into Russian military service, which begins on October 1st, also includes the territories illegally annexed to Ukraine for the first time. These are the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia oblasts.
