- At least three people were killed in a Russian bombing raid on Kramatorsk on Friday, one of the last remaining major cities in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine still under Ukrainian control, announced its mayor Oleksandr Hontcharenko. According to earlier reports, thirteen people were injured and at least twenty residential buildings damaged in the attack.
- A local official, Anatolii Kurtiev, reported on Telegram the death of a woman by Russian strikes in Zaporizhia, in southern Ukraine, on Friday. Two injured were also hospitalized.
- The Pentagon said Friday it had no information on the cause of the recent explosions at a Russian military base in Crimeastressing that the United States had not provided Kyiv with a weapon that would have enabled such an attack to be carried out.
