- The Ukrainian army confirmed on Sunday, September 17, the recapture of Klichtchiivka, a tactically important location south of Bakhmout, on the Eastern Front. “Klichtchiivka was evacuated by the Russians and liberated by the forces of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade (…),” Army Commander Oleksandr Syrsky announced on social networks.
- Moscow says it attacked a military factory in Kharkiv on the night of Sunday to Monday. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the production halls of an armored vehicle repair plant were hit by a rocket attack. Earlier, the head of the local Ukrainian military administration, Oleh Synehoubov, reported that a company in the city had been attacked by “four S-300 guided missiles.”
