The Russian leader praised the efforts of his army since the invasion of Ukraine began. To mobilize and calm the young troops, he promised to put the impressive Satan 2 missile into service by the end of the year.
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his army on Tuesday June 21 for deploying his soldiers in Ukraine. “We are proud that our fighters acted bravely, professionally and like real heroes during the special military operation,” he said, using the expression authorized by the authorities to describe the Russian offensive against Ukraine.
The leader addressed young graduates of Russian military academies and the highest army officials in the Kremlin. Regarding the sanctions against Russia, he also judged “that they will certainly be overcome”.
The Satan 2 operational before 2023
And “in the face of new threats, we will continue to strengthen our armed forces,” he said, promising the deployment of the latest Satan 2 ICBM this year. “There is no doubt that we will be even stronger,” pounded the Russian leader.
Russia claims it launched its offensive in Ukraine on February 24 to prevent an alleged “genocide” of the Russian-speaking population there. Statements that deviate from this official line are accordingly punished by the Russian judiciary with fines and imprisonment.
