War in Ukraine: “Putin’s goal is to eradicate us”, ex-President Poroshenko alarmed about the continuation of the conflict

The former President of Ukraine expressed pessimism at the microphone of BFM TV this Tuesday, April 19.

“We have to fight until we win, we have no other choice”. For Petro Poroshenko, predecessor of Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the presidency of Ukraine, the message is clear: the end of the conflict will not come through negotiations with Russia. He spoke on BFM TV this Tuesday.

No other term than genocide

Petro Poroshenko, always present in Kyiv, hammered the term genocide to describe the abuses committed by the Russian army in the country. A word that Emmanuel Macron did not want to use, believing that he “needs to be qualified by lawyers, not politicians”.

The Russian barbarians are firing at the buses that are used to evacuate the mothers and children (…) There is no other word than genocide to describe what happened at the Kramatorsk railway station when a rocket hit people waiting at the evacuation dock. All these people were killed because they were Ukrainians. This is genocide.

That’s why he believes that “the goal of Putin and the Russian occupiers is to eradicate us, to wipe Ukraine off the geopolitical map.”
