A video posted to the New York Times Instagram account shows a civilian building in the city of Chernihiv being shelled by the Russian army. The first death toll reached 33 before being reconsidered on Friday.
This is a compromising document about Vladimir Putin. The New York Times has published a video explicitly showing the timing of the bombing of a Ukrainian residential area by the Russian military. This is a district of Chernihiv, a key city north of Kyiv on one of the main roads leading to the capital.

Opening an investigation by the International Criminal Court?
It seems that civilians in Chernihiv are not the only victims of Russian missiles. This morning, the city of Zhytomyr, west of Kyiv, was the target of Russian strikes. Paris Match reporter Nicolas Delesal posted a video on Twitter showing the damage done to the bombed school. According to local authorities, no one was injured. But half the school was destroyed.
According to the NGO Human Rights Watch, cluster bombs were used by the Russian military on February 28 against residential areas of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. These weapons, which open into the air to release cluster munitions, are banned by an international treaty. The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court announced on Monday that he wants to start an investigation into war crimes.
