Russia has disclosed part of the data from the analysis of the black box of the Il-76 that crashed near Belgorod a week ago.
“Data from the flight recorders of the Il-76 aircraft shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region confirm the external impact on it.” As always, the official press agency of the Russian regime, Tass, hits the spot in announcing the analyzes of the II-76 black box no real precautions.
“The black box data excludes all possible versions of the Il-76 crash and confirms that the aircraft was exposed to an external influence, that is, it was shot down in the air. Everything is obvious,” said an agency source.
However, according to the same source, the black box analyzes are not yet complete.
As a reminder, since Wednesday, January 24, the date of the crash, the official Russian version says that on the same day two Ukrainian missiles hit the military aircraft that, according to Russia, was transporting prisoners of war for exchange with Ukraine.
A version that Ukraine has never confirmed and that called for the opening of an independent international investigation.
Ukrainian intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov stated that “neither side has been able to fully answer what happened to the Il-76.” “Russia accuses Ukraine of everything. Nevertheless, some facts supporting such a position are not clear.”
“No body transfer in preparation”
And this Wednesday, Andriy Yusov, representative of the Main Directorate of Ukrainian Intelligence, was still wondering where “our prisoners” were? “Right now all we can do is analyze their words. There is no preparation for the transfer of bodies on this site,” he concluded.
The presence of prisoners on the plane remains very uncertain. After the crash, Russia published a list of prisoners who were supposed to be on that plane. However, several prisoners had already been the subject of an exchange with Ukraine a few weeks earlier.
