“We want to express our deep respect to all Italian organizations, all companies in Italy that support us,” said the Mayor of Przemysl along with Matteo Salvini in the preamble. He then quickly continued, “At the same time, we have a personal note addressed to Senator Salvini. I have a present for you.”

Reinforcing the action with a word, Wojciech Bakun then waved a T-shirt with the image of Vladimir Putin in front of the Italian senator’s nose, with the inscription “Putin’s Army”. With this gesture, the Polish city councilor reproaches the newcomer for his numerous pro-Putin positions. Embarrassed, Matteo Salvini muttered a vague apology before retreating.
