The sulphurous Evgueni Prigojine is still under discussion. The head of the paramilitary group Wagner posted a video on social media saying he wants to run in Ukraine’s 2024 elections.
The 61-year-old soldier insults the Ukrainian fighters in front of destroyed buildings. “I get out of politics by speaking out loud so that everyone can hear me well,” he explains, raising his voice, before continuing: “If I look at everything around me, I am politically ambitious. I have decided to stand as a candidate in the 2024 Ukrainian presidential election. »

Evgueni Prigoyine says he is ready to stand against former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. “I will run against the latter,” he asserts. And finally: “If I win the election as President of Ukraine, everything will be fine, folks. Ammo is no longer needed. »
The leader of the paramilitary group is not his first provocation of this kind. Last February he even fell out with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of Staff Valery Guerasimov. Yevgueni Prigozhin had accused them of “treason” because they refused to supply Wagner with ammunition.
