Capture: TwitterWar in Ukraine: where is the Moskva crew? Russia is causing trouble
INTERNATIONAL – Nobody seems to have a clear answer. The fate of the crew members of the Moskva, a Russian ship that sank in the Black Sea after a Ukrainian shot, remained unclear this Sunday, April 17.
Many experts and netizens wondered about the fate of the Moskva crew members. An anonymous American source quoted by Reuters spoke of several dead in the sinking. Ukraine claims that the ship’s captain was killed on board.
But this Saturday, Russia assured that the crew had been evacuated before the sinking, with no casualties reported. The Russian Defense Ministry has provided evidence of a video showing a meeting between the chief of the Navy and survivors of the cruiser Moskva.
Russian Ministry of Defense: Commander of the Navy Admiral Nikolai Evmenov and the command of the Black Sea Navy met with the crew of the Moskva cruiser in Sevastopol.

In this short video we see a few dozen men in sailor uniforms standing at attention in front of Chief of the Navy Nikolaï Yévménov.
“The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, and the commander of the Black Sea Fleet met with the crew of the cruiser Moskva in Sevastopol,” the Crimean Ministry said in a brief statement.
The admiral “informed the cruiser’s crew that officers, midshipmen and deckhands would continue to serve in the Navy,” he added. These are the first images we can see suspected crew members but they could not be verified and their date is not clear, note several news sites such as the BBC.
