Kuleba meets his Brazilian counterpart in Monaco
Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira met his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba today on the sidelines of the security conference in Munich. According to the Brazilian government, the two ministers “discussed the current war situation, Brazil’s position on the conflict and Brazil’s contribution to the resolution to be voted on in the United Nations General Assembly calling for the ‘cessation of hostilities’ for the first time”. Kuleba, in turn, thanked Brazil for “condemning the Russian invasion” and invited the country to join the Kiev-sponsored “Formula for Implementing Peace,” the first high-level meeting between Ukraine and Brazil since the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defending the creation of a “group of countries organizing for peace”.
