Russian troops are concentrating their forces on the Lyman, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. There have been more than ten military clashes there in the last 24 hours.
The corresponding statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, reports an Ukrinform correspondent.
According to the updated information, in the past day Russian invaders fired 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles on the territory of Ukraine, as well as nine Kh-22 missiles, two Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, two S-300 guided missiles and three Shahed drones. Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles, one Kalibr missile and three Shahed drones.
The enemy attacked Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih with Kh-22 missiles. Unfortunately, casualties were reported among civilians. Dozens of family houses, farm buildings, infrastructure objects and more than 50 cars were destroyed.
In general, Russian troops launched 53 missile strikes, 11 air strikes and opened fire with multiple rocket systems (MLRS) more than 30 times.
The threat of Russian missile and air strikes remains throughout Ukraine.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remained rather unchanged.
In the direction of Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi, Russian invaders launched mortar and artillery attacks on the Halahanivka in the Chernihiv region. Novovasylivka, Chuikivka and Fotovyzh in the Sumy region; Okip, Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Pylna, Kozacha Lopan, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Bochkove, Budarky and Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the Russian occupiers carried out offensive actions against Berestov, but were unsuccessful. The enemy launched artillery and mortar attacks on the Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Kyslivka and Berestove areas of the Kharkiv region.
In the direction of Lyman, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions against Vesele. The enemy launched air strikes near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as artillery strikes on Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and in Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Ivanivske. The enemy launched artillery strikes on the Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasilyvka, Bohdanivka, Khasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka and New York regions of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near Avdiivka and Sieverne, as well as artillery strikes on the Novooleksandrivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Vodiane, Umanske, Vesele, Karlivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske areas of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Marinka, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Marinka in the Donetsk region. The enemy launched artillery strikes on the Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Kurakhove, Oleksiivka and Heorhiivka areas of the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarske direction, Russian occupying forces launched air strikes near the cities of Zolota Nyva, Makarivka and Prechystivka in Donetsk region and shelled Katerynivka, Bohoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Blahodatne, Wuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Novoukrainka.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops continue to defend. The enemy is concentrating its efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian forces. Russian invaders launched airstrikes near the cities of Novodanylivka, Orichiv and Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region. The enemy artillery attacked over 40 settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Poltavka, Zalisnykhne, Huljaipole, Huljaipilske, Kharivne, Bilohiria, Orikhiv and Prymorske in the Zaporizhia region. Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region; in the Kherson region: Dudhany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Selenivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske and Kizomys.
According to available data, Russian troops continue to loot civilians in the temporarily occupied areas. In a smelting cooperative located between Luhivka and Fabrychne, Russian soldiers are stealing property and personal belongings from local people’s homes.
In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian air force has launched 18 attacks on enemy troops and destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system.
Ukrainian rocket and artillery units fired on the Russian Strela surface-to-air missile system, three Russian personnel and military equipment groups, 12 guns in firing position and two electronic warfare systems.
