Warzone 2 should mark the beginning of a new era for Call of Duty. It just seems to be wind. So far, fans and professionals are mostly disappointed.

Publishers Activision and Infinity Ward praised the game well before its release and even after it. A “new era” begins with Warzone 2. Warzone 2: Frustrated Fans and Pros – “Descent into the Little Things”
What happened ? Warzone 2 was released almost a month ago, Modern Warfare 2 for two months. The Season 1 Reloaded mid-season update was released in mid-December and brought new holiday content. But the term “new content” is quite an exaggeration. Fans were horrified by the Warzone 2 and MW2 update because the promised content was missing.
Pros and fans are frustrated: This caused frustration among fans and professionals alike. Shortly after the update, the German CoD YouTuber HapticRush posted a video in which he complained heavily and stated the malfunctions of MW2 and Warzone 2. He’s not the only one.
American CoD pro FaZe Swagg also told Dexerto: “They built Warzone 1 and did it so well. And now they’ve taken out all the little things and quality of life changes and taken a step back.”
Warzone 2 lacks basic features – fans and professionals alike are amazed
These functions are missing or broken: The main missing feature is a decent status tracker in Warzone 2, which was supposed to make it into Season 1 Reloaded but has been postponed indefinitely. Warzone’s ultimate perk was bugged and Infinity Ward didn’t know about it until an American influencer pointed it out to them. But the criticism from the community doesn’t stop there.
- Cannot sprint while loading disks
- Movement has been extremely slowed
- Snipers no longer kill with a headshot
- Perks cannot be changed in Warzone 2 (this was a bug that has been fixed)
- Statistics are not tracked
- Warzone 2’s ultimate benefit was flawed and Infinity Ward didn’t know it.
- Loadouts are too hard to get and weapons too expensive
- Buy stations are too rare
- There is not enough money on the card
- There isn’t enough mid-game action because there aren’t enough players* on the big map.
HapticRush had much harsher words than Swagg about frustrating bugs and removed features. “They made a billion in 10 days playing this game and they have over 3,000 employees. […] What do you do ? They squirt cola all day, or what? »
What happens next in Warzone 2? Since the excitement surrounding HapticRush and Swagg, at least one thing has already changed. Loadouts can be bought again in Warzone 2. Also, personal weapon prices have been reduced and more purchase stations have been spread across the map.
Modern Warfare 2 is also controversial
MW 2 breaks all records, but also hearts – “The main thing is that the noobs are happy”
However, fans will have to wait a little longer before they really discover new content. Warzone 2 Season 2 isn’t coming until February. Until then, there is only the new Raid Modern Warfare 2 or the new game mode Warzone Cup, which is a copy of Rocket League. The strain definitely has a different appeal.
