LINZ. During the most beautiful time of the year, there is always an increasing need for waste disposal. To ensure a clean Christmas season, Linz AG employees are on duty during the holidays and dispose of residual and organic waste as well as light packaging and paper waste. From January 8th, Christmas trees will once again be collected free of charge.
This year, disposal will take place after Christmas, from Wednesday 27th December to Saturday 30th December 2023 and from Tuesday 2nd January to Friday 5th January. Please understand that due to the Christmas holidays, the usual collection days may be postponed by up to two days.

Waste collection centers
Linz AG's four waste collection centers are open on weekdays during the Christmas holidays. Holidays are excluded (December 25th, December 26th and January 1st, 2024).
Free Christmas tree disposal from January 8th
Christmas trees will also be collected free of charge. To do this, leave completely clean Christmas trees (not cut or shredded) on the side of the street (not in the trash can or where trash containers are set up) for collection on the 8th, 15th and 22nd of January.
