Have Washington Nationals Manager Dave Martinez’s Tantrums Gone Weekly?

After making headlines last week when he criticized a controversial official decision in a game against the Houston Astros, Martinez did it again Thursday as his team lost 5-3 to the Houston Diamondbacks (Arizona).

Martinez was knocked out of the game in the fifth inning after attacking home plate official Doug Eddings.

The losing team’s head coach made it clear to the referee that he didn’t agree with the way he judged shots and balls.

The Manitou of the American capital team cleaned the marble by hand and even lay down behind the plate in protest.

The Nats are one of the worst teams in Major League Baseball this season. They’re tied at 28-46, which puts them last in the National League East Division.
