Watch Jamie Lee Curtis break free without hiding his real body

Jamie Lee Curtis lets it all hang out in her new film – and says she has “never felt more creatively and physically free.”

The “Halloween” star insisted that her IRS auditor character in “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once” become an open version of herself. She showed the results on Thursday on Instagram. (See photo below.)

“My instruction to everyone was: I want nothing to be hidden,” she wrote, quoting herself in Entertainment Weekly. “I’ve been pulling in my stomach since I was 11 when you start to be aware of boys and bodies and jeans are very tight. I specifically chose to give up and relax every muscle I was tensing to hide reality.”

Curtis has criticized the “billion dollar” beauty industry for products that “hide things”.

“All to hide the reality of who we are,” she wrote.

Her latest role could serve as the culmination of her 1985 film Perfect, in which she played an aerobics instructor striving for a physical perfection.

In the sci-fi film Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, Michelle Yeoh embarks on a journey across the universe to save the world.

Its world premiere is scheduled for Friday at the South by Southwest Festival. A limited release is scheduled for March 25, with a wider release on April 8.
