While we wait for the release of the second part duneplanned for 1um next March at Warner Bros. Studio. unveiled a new trailer for Denis Villeneuve's blockbuster on Tuesday.
This 2-40 minute trailer allows us to discover never-before-seen images from the film, including several spectacular action scenes.
Postponed by a few months due to the actors' strike (the film was originally scheduled to hit theaters on November 4), Dune: Part II chronicles the legendary journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he reunites with Chani (Zendaya) as the Fremen , to lead the rebellion against those who destroyed his family.
In a recent interview with Total Film magazine, Denis Villeneuve hinted that his film Dune: Part II will feature more action than the first chapter, which will be released in fall 2021.
“The first film was more meditative and thoughtful,” the Quebec filmmaker recalled to Total Film. We followed a young man who discovered a new planet, a new culture. The second part is more of an action film than the first part. It’s more muscular.”
