Golf legend Tiger Woods is hitting the ball again, as seen in a video posted on one of his social networks, for the first time since his ankle surgery in April.
A short video clip shows the 47-year-old American hitting a ball with a wedge on the sidelines of a youth competition organized by his foundation in Pebble Beach (California).
Woods withdrew from the Masters in April before undergoing surgery on his right ankle and has not competed since, notably missing the PGA Championship, the United States Open and the British Open.
The golfer, a fifteen-time Grand Slam winner, has been weakened since a serious car accident in 2021. He has not yet addressed the topic of returning to the race track.
Tiger Woods is expected to attend a virtual golf competition in January that he created with Rory McIlroy, the “TGL.”
