(ANSA) — ROME, DECEMBER 5 — A Russian raid hit residential buildings in Novosofiivka, killing two people and injuring two others. This was reported by the governor of the Zaporizhia region Oleksandr Starukh, quoted by the Kyiv Independent.
According to Kyiv Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat, the rain of missiles launched by Russia at multiple locations in Ukraine is aimed at “overwhelming Ukrainian air defenses in preparation for further attacks on critical infrastructure later in the day.” According to local media, explosions were also heard in the west and south of the country, particularly in Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih oblasts.
