The event on the Îles-de-Boucherville ended shortly after 4 p.m.
The goal of $300,000 was reached and even exceeded, as more than $320,000 was raised thanks to this activity by the Charles Bruneau Foundation, which helps children with cancer.
“We are so proud of this event because it allows us to reach a wider audience,” said Charles Bruneau Foundation founder Pierre Bruneau in an interview with LCN.
Since its inception 10 years ago, the Charles-Bruneau Blue Circuit has raised $1.9 million.
At 71, Pierre Bruneau is still deeply committed to the activities of his foundation.
“It’s a lifelong mission and I’m very happy that people are coming. Because you know Charles had this dream of healing, but every one of the children that I meet across Quebec also have this dream,” he explains.
